About

Finding Inspiration

Liz has lived in Twickenham for over 20 years and takes inspiration from the beauty in the surrounding area.  In her artworks she is keen to capture moments in time.  Liz wants to evoke the feelings of being outside under the trees, breathing in the early morning air and hearing bird song by sitting still, observing and capturing.  The Thames is a fabulous source
of inspiration – the sunlight sparkling on the waters and the splendid architecture around and across the river continue to influence her work.

Liz gained her BA at Chelsea School of Art and then on London College
of Communication for her MA.  She worked in publishing as a designer before training as a teacher and currently teaches Art & Design part-time.  She devotes as much time as possible to her practice of making artworks and preparing to sell in exhibitions and fairs.
